Lavender, apricot, lemon, vanilla and honey flavors lend this white tea the character of a southern French-inspired blend. Provence makes a light, aromatic cup; its separate French Countryside Duo option pairs it with Brittany black tea.

“I would use a light touch with both temperature and steeping time here, so the lavender remains a note rather than the whole cup.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

French Countryside Duo: Brittany: Steep at 212°F for 5 minutes. Provence: Steep at 175°F for 3 minutes.

Maker / Heritage

John Harney learned tea blending from Stanley Mason while managing the White Hart Inn in Salisbury, Connecticut, before founding Harney & Sons in 1983. The family’s approach joins close attention to tea origins with an enthusiasm for creating new blends. Mike Harney’s experience tasting fine wine helped shape his attention to a tea’s aroma, body and finish; Paul helped bring the company’s blends into its signature sachets. That combination makes exploring the collection feel personal rather than formal. Tea-table accessories and mixed gifts are selected to complement the pleasure of preparing, serving and sharing a good cup.
